PES had retrofitted five conventional buildings with energy efficient HVAC retrofit in 2015-16 .HVAC efficiency include detailed engineering and a holistic approach. All interactive effects need to be taken care ie. energy efficient measures in one area could lead to increase the energy consumptions in other connected areas. We ensures that project is implemented with minimal return over investments with a holistical approach.

PES is tied up with Danfoss brand for variable speed drives and have own panel fabrication facility to build the control panels. Large chunk of energy in any industry is swallowed by the HVAC requirements especially in middle east where the sun bestow its energy in fullest.


Hence it is necessary to ensure that the energy consumed for HVAC is optimized and efficient . HVAC system are broadly classified as following:

  • Centralized system - District Cooling ,Centralized chiller plant etc
  • Ducted Split – VRF,VAM etc
  • Normal Split/Window ACs

Centralized chilled water system and district cooling system is gaining importance due to better COP & EER. However from our experience it has been noted that due to over engineering/design flows there are many areas where energy consumption can be plugged .DELTA T correction in district cooling plant is one such area . Lower delta T will lead to higher flow per Ton and hence increase the energy consumption.
